The court delayed the trial because John Edwards heart condition
The District Judge Catherine Eagles, delaying the trial based on a letter from the doctor in charge. Judge Catherine Eagles said in court that she has received letters from two cardiologists, stating that they have scheduled a medical procedure for Edwards.
Defense lawyers also find it difficult to meet with John Edwards because of John Edwards heart condition.
